PLEASE NOTE: GPMR communicates primarily by email. GPMR does not have a shelter. All of our dogs are kept in loving foster homes. We must have a completed adoption application on file before meeting any of our mastiffs.

GPMR adopts to the states of Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri, Louisiana and parts of Colorado.

!!!Any mastiffs being adopted out of the state of Oklahoma require a health certificate to be paid for by the adopter!!!

2/5/2012 UPDATE! Alexis is still looking for her perfect forever family but doing well in foster. Alexis continues to work on her manners. She does become attached to her "person" and needs continued support and guidance when around unfamiliar people/surroundings. Alexis prefers to be an only dog, although she is tolerant of her kitty sibling. If you are looking for a devoted companion than Alexis may be the perfect fit for you!

Alexis is doing well in her foster home in Colorado!! She has determined cats are OK - and on walks when approaching dogs stays close to her foster Momma and the other dog goes unnoticed! Alexis is still looking for her furever home would that be YOU???

Alexis is a purebred Mastiff who was found as a stray and taken to a shelter in Arkansas. She had a tag with phone numbers but the shelter left several messages and her owners never came to get her. The shelter kept Alexis for over 2 months because she is such a sweet girl. When they were unable to find her a home, they contacted rescue.

Alexis has undergone heartworm treatment and is putting on some much needed weight. While she loves her people, she really doesn't enjoy the company of other dogs but loves cats, so we'd love to find her a home where she is the only dog and can receive all the spoils and pampering that comes along with that! This girl lives to love you and be your constant companion. She is very well behaved in the home when left alone too. If you want a forever friend, please consider her for your home today!
