New Bio: (4/28/07)
Annie is such a sweet girl.  She is a 2 year old fawn female who came into rescue at only 75lbs. Thanks to the dedication of a wonderful volunteer, she is now up to 105lbs and still gaining.  Even though she was obviously starved and emaciated, her personality is wonderful.  She is super sweet and wags her tail constantly. She is very friendly with everyone she has come into contact with so far. She has a case of "happy tail" that is just about healed from her wagging her tail so much while she was at the shelter. She has been spayed and is current on vaccinations. She is heartworm negative. We are still working on her coat. Due to the poor nutrition, her coat is still pretty dry, but with a bit more time it should start looking very nice.
Annie is very large for a female. She is quite tall and has a massive head. She has a ton of wrinkles and alot of personality and expression in her face and eyes. She has a beautiful mask and will even smile at you. (she pulls her gums back on top & bottom in an obvious smile as she smacks both sides of her tail as she wags it.) 
We are still working on her potty training, but she is completely crate trained and has not had an accident in her crate.  She has been around young children and other dogs in her foster home and she seems to love both kids and dogs. She loves to play!
